Wiringin Dhulu (Cleverman tree). This naïve/primitivist landscape is heavily textured in impasto gel. It depicts a Gamilaraay wirigin (cleverman) passing on knowledge to a pair of birray (boys) under a dhulu (tree). The bright vibrant colours creates a happy atmosphere.
